If you've missed Nocterra's Powell taproom, there's good news. Land-Grant Brewing Company has acquired the Nocterra brand and the taproom, the two breweries said in a joint announcement. Nocterra stopped operations at its Powell and Scioto Audubon locations on Aug. 31, with little notice for employees and patrons.
- Where: 41 Depot St., Powell
- Reopening: planned for late November
- Renovations: anticipated to begin January 2027
- Jobs: openings to be shared as hiring becomes available
Land-Grant says its first job is getting fresh batches of Nocterra's beers back on taps and shelves around Central Ohio. "We aren't looking at this as replacing Nocterra," one of Land-Grant's founders said. As for the laid-off staff, the breweries said they're "still working through staffing for the Powell taproom."
